Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer, Mark brings more than 30 years of senior management and sales experience to Flagship Solutions Group. In his current capacity, he is responsible for the day-to-day management and implementation of the strategic and tactical direction of Flagship as well as the integration of services capabilities into responsive customer solutions.
Mark is on the Board of the South Florida Technology Alliance, a regional 501c3 nonprofit focused on driving awareness of South Florida as a technology hub. In 2014, Flagship was awarded with IBM’s highest honor for a Business Partner, A Beacon Award for Outstanding Community Impact. This was the first time in IBM’s history a Business Partner was recognized for their community involvement.
Mark began his career with seven years at GAF Corporation, progressing from Sales Representative to District Manager. Included in his extensive background are key management roles with some of the nation’s most recognized computer and data management firms. At Burroughs, he served as Senior Account Manager; and at NCR his 12-year tenure covered roles as District Manager, Manager of Education and Training, Director, National Accounts, Pricing Manager, and Sales Manager. Mark was also Vice-President of Sales for a division of the Mail-Well Corporation. Mark then moved to Champion Solutions Group for 7 years as Vice President of Sales progressing to General Manager of Champion’s Services Division. Mark held the position of Senior Director at Mainline Information Systems where he had responsibility for Mainline’s Services companies, including IBM Global Services, Disaster Recovery and Professional Services. Just prior to Flagship, Mark was COO for Compuquip Technologies, one of South Florida’s largest systems integrators.

Mark has a BA in Management and holds IBM Certifications as an IBM Cloud Builder, Systems Expert x series, Smarter Cities Technical and Sales certifications, IBM Disaster Recovery Top Gun, Blade and Storage Certifications. In addition, Mark holds a TOGAF certification.
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
As Vice President of Sales, Tom brings more than 26 years of management and sales experience. In his current capacity, Tom is responsible for the development and implementation of the sales of products and services by providing the strategic and tactical direction to the company. He is also responsible for the integration of services capabilities into responsive customer solutions.
Tom began his career with 18 years at IBM, progressing from Customer Engineer to a Systems Management Specialist to a Regional Sales Manager. He served in IBM’s Channel division supporting several of IBM’s largest U.S. Partners. Tom has also lead the services sales business at another IBM partner prior to coming to Flagship.

Tom has a BS degree in Computer Science and Engineering. He is married to Sarah, a Wellness and Fitness Coach and wife of 30+ years. Tom has a daughter, Brooke, an Elementary School Teacher, and son Tyler, who is a student at the University of Florida.
Chief Operating Officer
Doug is currently the Chief Operating Officer and one of the founding members of Flagship Solutions
Although Doug started out in the Banking Information Technology industry, working for multi-national companies, he is at heart an entrepreneur. He has owned various companies as diverse as a full-service marina, an Aviation company, to a consulting company that assisted small to medium businesses in overcoming the issues of growth.
Doug is devoted to everything he does and has a clear passion for change in our Community. Doug has served on the Spirit of Giving board as President, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Florence Fuller Child Developments Centers, and has been on the Boca Bowl Executive Committee since its inception seven years ago. Doug was also part of the Boys Scouts of America, serving in Leadership for over 6 years. Doug’s efforts in the Community are instrumental to Flagship Solutions Group and have resulted in industry acknowledgements that include the IBM Beacon Award for Community Service.

Senior Vice President
Edgard brings over 40 years of Sales and Consultant experience in the IT industry. At Flagship Solutions Group, besides his co-owner responsibilities, Edgard is responsible for managing large, complex sales that typically involve multi-country and multi-cultural environments.
Edgard worked for IBM for 30 years. During his tenure Edgard held many Management and Executive Sales positions in different geographies including, Latin America, Asia Pacific, USA and Worldwide. Positions held included Public Sector Vice President for Latin America, based in Miami, Mainframe Sales Vice President for Asia Pacific, based in Shanghai, Worldwide Vice President for the Mega Deals Project with offices based in Somers, NY, Mainframe and Storage General Manager for Latin America, based in NY, Sales Director for the Andino Countries based in Bogota, Colombia.
Edgard is a Civil Engineer with a Master’s degree in Technology Management.
Chief Technology Officer
Ed Janeczek is one of the three founding members of Flagship Solutions Group, currently serving Flagship as Chief Technology Officer.
Ed has extensive experience in computer software and hardware with demonstrated expertise building and managing software development, product support, documentation, and software localization teams that deliver products on time and within budget.
At Flagship, Ed is responsible for internal infrastructure and technical operations, as well as playing an active role in multiple customer implementations, including cloud migrations and remote monitoring and management of data center on-premise, colocation, and cloud environments.
Previous experience includes multiple technical and management roles as part of the founding teams at DayJet Corporation and Citrix Systems.
